This article is dedicated to children’s speech disorders. It is important to say, that the development of phonemic perception is an actual problem, as the number of children with a violation of the phonemic aspect of speech is steadily growing. The urgency of this problem is that the development of phonemic processes positively influences the formation of the entire speech system. The early detection of children with phonetic-phonemic underdevelopment of speech and the provision of speech therapy help to correct speech function in preschool children and schoolchildren either.

The problem of the relationship of litotes to related phenomena and their reflection in proverbs

This article examines the relationship between the figurative device of litotes and related phenomena. References to scholarly works are provided and commentary is provided. It is proven that litotes, often found in oral speech, is also found in proverbs. It is argued that this phenomenon is related to hyperbole, meiosis, and antenatiosis. It is also determined that litotes has a euphemistic, metaphorical, and synecdochic nature. The study, based on the opinions of scholars, described the boundaries of these phenomena, identifying their general and specific aspects. Descriptive, classificatory, comparative, and contrastive methods were used in the study. Scientific sources were consulted. The subject of the study is proverbs, and the task is to examine the relationship between litotes and related phenomena based on the proverbs in which they appear. The scientific conclusions are consistent with the results obtained and are presented in the table. Since the role of litotes in proverbs has not been studied in a monographic context, the article is of current importance.

This article provides an in-depth theoretical and comparative analysis of the linguistic, cognitive, and pragmatic characteristics of texts generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in comparison to real human speech. It explains, from a scientific perspective, how features such as lexical normalization, semantic neutrality, repetitiveness, stylistic smoothness, discursive uniformity, and semantic safety arise in AI-generated texts due to the use of Transformer architectures, probabilistic language models, and statistical generation mechanisms. Differences between AI-generated texts and human speech are examined using examples from English and Uzbek, with particular attention to human cognitive creativity, context-building ability, cultural implicatures, and emotional intonation. The findings have practical significance for AI-detection systems, media text quality assessment, ensuring academic integrity, and improving the efficiency of translation systems.

This article is devoted to the in-depth analysis and classification of contemporary rhetorical canons. The study employed discourse analysis, semiotic approach, comparative method, and corpus analysis. The results indicate that contemporary rhetorical canons are formed not only on the basis of the classical five canons but also include cognitive, psychological, media, pedagogical, and ethical functions. Moreover, their integrated application enhances interactive communication with the audience and increases speech effectiveness.

The article examines intersemiotic relations within cognitive knowledge structures, which comprise elements of both verbal and non-verbal nature. Drawing on classical models of knowledge representation, the author conceptualizes knowledge as a system of interconnected concepts formed through various channels of experience and represented by linguistic and extralinguistic means. Particular attention is given to the literary text as a space where multiple semiotic systems interact. Using J. D. Salinger’s novella Zooey as material, the study analyzes transitions from the verbal to the visual domain, including theatrical and material codes that contribute to an expanded interpretation of the knowledge structure “Performing Arts.” The analysis demonstrates that intersemiotic transitions serve as an essential mechanism for the actualization of cognitive knowledge structures and facilitate the creation of multilayered artistic meaning.

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the cultural appropriateness and pragmatic adaptation of translated statements from English into Uzbek, Karakalpak, and Russian. The findings indicate that in Uzbek and Karakalpak translations, statements are adjusted through politeness, indirectness, and respect categories, whereas in Russian translations, the direct tone of the English statements is largely preserved. Furthermore, the article examines the transformation of illocutionary force, discourse markers, and cultural realia, the adaptation to cultural context, and strategies that determine translation quality. The study confirms the theoretical and practical importance of ensuring pragmatic-cultural equivalence in translation processes.
