This article analyzes the formal and substantive research in Uzbek poetry of the period of Independence. Theoretical criteria such as the dialectic of content and form in Uzbek poetry of the independence period constitute the main purpose of the article because, in modern Uzbek poetry, we can see formal research in the example of many artists. Conclusions have been made that content and form cannot be separated from each other in Uzbek poetry during the period of independence. Social, psychological, and biographical analysis methods were used in writing this article.
