This article deals with the main features of the newspaper style, the concept of the newspaper headline, its types, tasks, and translation issues of lexical units and word combinations in newspaper texts. Different examples of lexical units and word combinations in newspaper texts, which provide information about the problems and issues that arise in the process of translation, were analyzed. Mass media texts are studied with the help of various analyses and their translations are presented.
