This article examines phraseology as a branch of linguistics and its role in language studies. It explores the research conducted by scholars on phraseological units, reviews relevant literature, and discusses the classification, meanings, and usage of phraseological expressions. Phraseology encompasses unique expressions that convey distinct meanings through the combination of two or more words. These expressions are often rich in cultural and historical context, playing a crucial role in enriching language and enhancing communication. The article aims to highlight the importance of phraseology in language learning and teaching, ultimately emphasizing its communicative significance.
