This article examines the challenges of achieving equivalence in formal style translation, with a focus on the Codes of Amir Timur. Drawing on the works of E. Nida, P. Newmark, and L. Koller, the study explores key issues such as terminological precision, structural differences, and cultural nuances. It highlights strategies like structural adaptation and terminological consistency as essential for enhancing translation accuracy and functionality in formal texts.
