Abstract

The linguistic and cultural characteristics of anthroponyms are closely related to their socio-cultural status, historical development, and the cultural values of a nation. This article analyzes the origins, semantic, and functional peculiarities of personal names used in Uzbek, English, and Russian. The naming traditions of each nation and their role in society are compared, with a focus on anthropological, ethnolinguistic, and linguistic-cultural aspects.
