Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of reality associated with court women in historical novels and the writer's approach to this subject. The portrayal of society, politics, and cultural life through the image of court women is examined from a scientific perspective. Although the surviving written sources do not provide a comprehensive and detailed account of the lives and activities of women from the upper class, the information gathered from these sources allows us to illuminate the complex fate of high-society ladies. Their stories reflect all the peculiarities and contradictions of their families and era - encompassing joy and anxiety, splendor and humiliation, prestige and vulnerability.
