Abstract

This article aims to explore the semantic and pragmatic features of synonymous verbs in Russian and Uzbek languages. The study analyzes the semantic interrelationships of synonymous verbs, as well as the pragmatic differences between them, specifically how they change depending on the context in speech. The research also examines the social and cultural differences in verb synonymy between the two languages, and determines the function of such synonyms in speech and their role in communication.
