Abstract

This article focuses on the stylistic features and socio-pragmatic functions of elliptical sentences used in dialogic speech in both Uzbek and English languages. The linguistic analysis centers on how such incomplete structures function within communicative contexts, their significance in social discourse, and the stylistic roles they carry. A comparative perspective highlights the similarities and differences in how these constructions operate across the two languages.
