L.Erdrich is considered one of the most profound and thoughtful writers of our time. In her novels, she does not merely describe characters but carefully analyzes and portrays the relationships between them, as well as their connections with nature, society, and community. This article examines the history of the writing of “The Plague of Doves”, the influence of the author’s autobiography on the creation of the novel, and discusses the factors that contributed to the emergence of this literary work.
