Classification of Religious Topics from Mahmudxo'ja Behbudiy's "Oyna" Journal

This article analyzes the religious, moral, and educational articles published in the "Oyna" magazine by Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, one of the leading figures of the Jadid movement in the early 20th century. The study illuminates Behbudi's perspectives on the harmony between religious faith and modernity, his principles of interpreting Islam as a factor of progress, and the social significance of his ideas calling for public enlightenment. Additionally, the moral values, human education, the role of women, and youth spirituality issues advanced in the articles are examined from contemporary pedagogical and social viewpoints. The research findings reveal Behbudi's role and influence in shaping enlightenment ideas within Muslim society through the "Oyna" magazine.
