This article analyzes the concept of social norms and their role and importance in the educational process, particularly in ensuring discipline among students. It highlights how norms form through the socialization of the student’s personality, their conscious acceptance, and the impact of this process on educational quality. The paper scientifically and methodologically substantiates the importance of social norms in shaping students’ character and maintaining classroom discipline. It also examines the teacher’s role in cultivating classroom culture and offers recommendations for creating effective order based on social norms.
