The article highlights the significance of the development of simultaneous translation in Uzbekistan and the need to develop specialized teaching methods for this type of translation activity. The authors discuss the relevance of training in simultaneous interpretation from English into Uzbek in light of the growing need for qualified interpreters in the country. The article presents the main methods and approaches to teaching simultaneous interpretation and explores principles and practices that can increase the effectiveness of the pedagogical process. The purpose of the study is to identify and systematize methods that will help in training translators capable of professionally performing simultaneous translation, and thus satisfy the demand for this specialization in Uzbekistan
