Abstract

This article offers a scientific and theoretical analysis of the formation of linguistic terms in English, Uzbek, and Karakalpak using the lexical-semantic method. The study examines the semantic structure of terms, semantic shifts, and the specific features of term development from the perspective of contemporary linguistics, supported by concrete examples. Special attention is given to identifying each language’s distinctive characteristics through comparative analysis.
