Abstract

This article studies the linguistic essence of stable language units and their classification. The structure, semantic features and scope of phraseological units are covered. Also, the factors influencing the formation of stable units in different languages and their comparative analysis are carried out. The article presents two classifications of types of stable language units based on scientific theoretical sources.
