The article examines anthroponyms as a reflection of the national worldview based on Russian and Uzbek folk tales. The research is conducted from a linguocultural perspective, employing semantic, comparative, and contextual analysis. Special attention is given to the symbolism of personal names, their role in conveying ethnocultural values, and their functioning within folkloric texts. The comparative approach has revealed both common folkloric patterns and specific naming characteristics influenced by religious, cultural, and social factors. The research findings confirm that anthroponyms serve as significant carriers of cultural information, shaping a unique ethnic perception of the world.
