Yangi tilni o'rganishning eng qiyin jihatlaridan biri og'zaki nutq ko'nikmalarni egallashdir, bu odatda juda murakkab jarayon hisoblanadi. Chet tillarida mukammal gapirish uchun integratsiya, xususan, og'zaki muloqotdan foydalanish ko'nikmalarini rivojlantirish va yaxshilash kerak. Ko‘pgina tilshunos olimlar, pedagoglar talabalarga o‘z qarashlari va mulohazalarini og‘zaki bayon etishni o‘rgatishda qiynaladi. Talabalar ko'pincha qisqacha o'z fikrlarini chet tillida etkazish uchun yordamga muhtoj bo’lishadi. Ushbu maqolada nutqni o'rgatish bo'yicha mavjud tadqiqotlar, uning oqibatlari, og'zaki nutqning o'ziga xos xususiyatlari, nutqdagi to'siqlar va nutqni o'rgatish samaradorligiga ta'sir ko'rsatishi mumkin bo'lgan omillar har tomonlama tahlil qilinadi. Adabiyotlarni o'rganish shuni ko'rsatdiki, ko’pgina olimlar talabalar og'zaki muloqot ko'nikmalarini samarali qo’llash zarurligini ta'kidlaydilar va diqqatni shu ko’nikmaga qaratishni talab qiladilar. Ushbu tadqiqot natijalari o'qituvchilar va tadqiqotchilarga ingliz tilini o'rganuvchilar duch keladigan til o'rganish qiyinchiliklari va tilni muvaffaqiyatli bilishga ta'sir qiluvchi omillar haqida, xususan gapirish ko’nikmasini rivojlantirishga xizmat qiladigan omillar haqida tushuncha beradi.
