Ushbu maqola Jon Apdaykning “The Great Scarf of Birds” she’rini postmodern adabiyot nazariyasi asosida tahlil qilishga bag‘ishlanadi. Tadqiqot davomida intertekstual ishoralar, real va noreal tasvirlarning qo‘shilishi, idrokning subyektiv xarakteri, metaforik qatlamlarning ko‘pligi hamda poetik sintaksisdagi dinamiklik aniqlanadi. Ongli yondashuv va chuqur o‘qish metodidan foydalanib, she’rning poetik strukturasi, ma’no qatlamlari va estetik xususiyatlari sharhlanadi. Natijalar Jon Updayk realistik tasvirlarga tayanishiga qaramay, ushbu she’rida postmodern poetik tamoyillarni sezilarli darajada qo‘llaganini ko‘rsatadi.
