В статье рассматривается роль Ирана в условиях геополитической конкуренции в Центральной Азии. Несмотря на стремление избежать прямого противостояния с такими державами, как Россия и Китай, интересы Ирана нередко пересекаются с их стратегическими целями. В условиях экономического доминирования Китая и военно-политического влияния России Иран пытается усилить своё присутствие через транзитную дипломатию, энергетические связи и прагматичные альянсы. Сотрудничество с Индией рассматривается как элемент балансировки, особенно на фоне санкционного давления Запада. В статье анализируется, как Иран выстраивает стратегию в этом сложном конкурентном поле.
