Abstract

Loneliness as a mental state of a person, reflecting the experience of his identity, the subjective impossibility or unwillingness to feel an adequate response, acceptance and recognition of himself by other people. This article is devoted to the scientific and theoretical analysis of approaches that express a sense of loneliness. Any of the approaches considered in this article focuses on any features of the mental feeling of loneliness. Together, all these approaches provide important tools for theoretical knowledge, each of which can be used in its own context. Each of the theoretical approaches reveals the uniqueness of the holistic perception of the feeling of loneliness by a person. All approaches together show the importance of scientific and theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of loneliness.
