From the studied sources that have been published, for example, official statements, appeals, various documents. It can be concluded that the Roman Catholic Church was one of the first to appreciate the power and importance of the Internet. This allowed her to start a fairly effective missionary. The study analyzes the arguments on which the highest leaders of the Catholic Church express support for the use of digital technologies for religious purposes.

The article also examines when and in what forms Catholicism entered cyberspace. A theoretical assessment is given on the current types of online activities of the Roman Catholic Church and Catholic websites.
