Abstract

This article reveals the use of communicative learning based on linguistic, sociolinguistic, pragmatic and strategic competencies. This is the basis for developing critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research article is to illustrate the effectiveness of the use of communicative competencies in teaching, as well as in the development of the student's critical thinking abilities. Communicative competencies based on the use of innovative pedagogical technologies play one of the main roles in the modern learning process, especially the English language. Communicative learning is primarily an approach to language learning that emphasizes interaction as a means and as the ultimate goal of learning. To date, pedagogical science is being transformed, like our whole life. The main traditional teaching methods do not meet the requirements of modern pedagogy. The approaches and methods of comprehensive development of each student in the learning process are investigated. In this regard, the principles of developmental learning are implemented through the use of modern pedagogical technologies in the higher education system, namely, which ensure the comprehensive development of personality and the expansion of students' horizons.
