Abstract

The relevance of the article “Religious Extremism and the Threat of Terrorism”, the essence of Islam’s peace-loving, tolerant nature, the negative aspects of religious bigotry, extremism and terrorism are explained on the basis of comprehensive information and evidence. Legal understanding of religious extremism and terrorism in the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the emergence and current state of extremism and terrorism in our country, the actions of religious extremism and terrorist organizations and movements in the country, the resulting losses and damage, raising legal awareness and culture, religious extremism and work on the formation of ideological immunity against terrorism.
