Abstract

The article gives the concept of tolerance and defines its significance as an indispensable condition for the normal functioning of the state in modern conditions. The methods of education of tolerance as the most important moral quality of a person in the conditions of multinational Uzbekistan are analyzed. The potential of the art of folk dance as a means of ethnocultural development and interethnic interaction are determined. The possibilities of collective interaction in solving the problem of educating tolerance in children and adolescents in the conditions of artistic and educational activities of a choreographic group are revealed. The role of direct intercultural interaction of the peoples of the world in the formation of a tolerant position among young people in the framework of international folklore festivals is indicated.
