Abstract

The article discusses the participation of trade unions in the process of lawmaking, the features of documents adopted by them, their significance in the life of society and the state. In accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan, trade unions are divided into direct and indirect according to the content of activities related to creation of rights. Scientific development explains that direct lawmaking is revealed through legal documents adopted by trade unions, and indirect lawmaking is showed through participation in draft regulatory legal documents relating to social and economic sphere, rights and interests of employees. In the article the rights of trade unions in the experience of foreign countries in creation of norms, in particular the right of legislative initiative; the right to participate in preparation of draft regulatory legal documents was also analyzed.
