Abstract

This article analyzes important directions in the organization of victimological prevention based on a system of scientific and practical knowledge formed in the field of victimology in foreign countries. It also analyzes the methodological foundations of victimological knowledge in foreign studies and characterizes special measures aimed at increasing the potential for protecting victims of crime in preventive activities. It is on the basis of this positive experience that the article shows the need to develop programs aimed at victimological prevention of crimes in our country.
