Abstract

Today, no one doubts that full-fledged training of chess players cannot be carried out without the use of Internet technology, and a qualified chess player must freely navigate the Internet and be able to effectively use its capabilities in their professional activities. Studies show that the use of the Internet contributes to the development of thinking, provides new means for solving creative problems, and changes the style of mental activity. In combination with the rapid development of information technology and virtual reality, the Internet opens up new opportunities in presenting educational material, increasing the degree of motivation and self-training, and implementing an individual approach to training a chess player. All this together provides conditions for improving the skills and knowledge of chess players. The article discusses the use of chess Internet resources in the educational and training process of chess players. The issue of analysis of chess Internet resources and the prospect of their use in the educational and training process of chess players are considered. An analysis of chess sites is made and their classification is proposed.
