Composition “Firdaus al-ikbal” and the study of the period of Muhammad Rakhimkhan I reign by foreign orientalists

The article tells about the composition of "Firdaus al-ikbal" and the study of the period of the reign of Muhammad Rakhimkhan I by foreign orientalists. Information is given on the contribution of foreign orientalists to the study of the work "Firdaus al-ikbal" and the period of the reign of Muhammad Rakhimkhan I. For example, scientists such as A.L. Kun, P.P. Ivanov, V.V. Bartold, and Yu.E. Bregel analyzed carefully the work "Firdavs ul-Iqbal" and the era of Muhammad Rakhimkhan I, and added to this work the history of Khorezm, especially the facts that it is the main primary source in the study and research of the period of Muhammad Rakhimkhan I are given. P.P. Ivanov's translation of the part about the history of the Turkmens from the work "Firdavs ul-Iqbal" into Russian, A.L. Kun's writing down brief notes of the events in the Khanate of Khiva from Abulgazikhan to the beginning of the 19th century based on the manuscript of "Firdavs ul-Iqbal", that V.V.Bartold prepared the summary text of this work, but the former Soviet censor did not allow the publication, however, he expressed a high opinion about V.V.Bartold's work "Firdavs ul-Iqbal" and was the first to introduce this work to the West, in 1988 the work "Firdavs ul-Iqbal" was translated into English by Y. E. Bregel, In 2010, in honor of our independence, the work was published in the Uzbek language. In addition, information is provided about the memories of the travelers who visited the Khiva Khanate, N.N. Muravyov, G. Vamberi, about the Khiva Khanate, the Khiva Khans, such as Muhammad Rakhimkhan I, Sayyid Muhammad Khan.
