Predicated on historic and jurisprudent, socio-economic conditions in foreign countries, a number of models of relations of state, religious and civil society organizations are formed, and an active participation of institute of religion is observed in various aspects of social life. Aforementioned relations are called state-confessional relations, the topic of inter-relations between state, religion, and other societal configurations had resulted in engaging debate-discussions for many centuries. Religion and its role in a societal life, an impact of religious organizations on activities of state and civil society institutions, the relations between state and religion are comparatively analyzed on the basis of constitutions and laws of countries in this article. The participation of religious institutions of countries in society activities and consequently, based on their level, confessional typology are discussed. Emphasizing that partnership between state and religious institutions in foreign countries is dependent on cultural, historic, economic, and political factors, it is found out that political factor is overarching other factors in religious preferences at an international level. It is reported that in the contemporary multi-confessional world, it is considered to be essential that religious conflicts and divisions based on differences in religious preferences are not allowed, in morally developed countries, the existence and plausibility of resolving conflicts through the means of intelligence and communications instead of weaponry, and subsequently, that is found to be true in the history of partnerships of state and religious organizations of various countries in the world.
