The article contains information about the positive experience of building and operating their apparatuses revealed in the course of the study of the parliaments of foreign countries. The author, in particular, identified the main areas of activity of the apparatuses of the parliaments of foreign countries and carried out their comparative analysis, on the basis of which the directions useful for further improvement of the apparatuses of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan were identified.
