Abstract

In this article, independent learning contributes to the consolidation of students` theoretical knowledge, the maximum development of the ability to understand subjects and the expansion of the general worldview. An essential place in the radical restructuring of the system of training specialists, increasing the importance of the educational process is occupied by the independent work of students. The analysis shows that independent work is understood as such educational activity in which, along with acquiring knowledge, an independent organization of the formation of skills and abilities is provided. This happens depending on the specific didactic goal in practice.
