This article discusses the reasons for applying disciplinary measures against a lawyer, the grounds and procedures for initiating disciplinary proceedings, types of disciplinary measures, and situations in which it is impossible to apply disciplinary measures. The author has analyzed the general and different aspects of disciplinary action against lawyers based on the experience of advanced foreign countries and made scientific and theoretical conclusions.
