Abstract

This article talks about the first stages of the historical development of Korean literature. It focused on the literary epic traditions and values that prevailed in this period, as well as the review of legends and narratives written about the founders of the state. Details are also given of the fake biographies that were popular at the time. In particular, the metaphorical works "Bamboo Lady" and "Dengue Story", which are unique works of elegant prose-allegory of Koryo period literature, were analyzed
