Abstract

The article presents the main results of a study of the legal regulation of payment relations in the Republic of Uzbekistan, some developed foreign countries and in the European Union, and concludes that the single payment space is mediated by a set of legal norms regulating public relations arising in the process of transferring funds with the participation of credit institutions. This set of legal norms is gradually becoming isolated and can be designated by the term "payment law". To this end, the concept, subject, method, principles and structure of payment law are defined, consisting of the following institutions: the law of the organization of payment systems; interbank payment law; customer payment law. The proposed concept can be used as the basis for the formation of not only a model of banking law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, but also a general concept of convergence of legal regulation of payment and financial services in the context of globalization and international integration.
