The scientific article identifies the main stages of the formation and development of modern institutions of civil society in New Uzbekistan. The problems of expanding the activities of civil society institutions and increasing their role and importance in the process of forming democratic values in our country have been studied. In particular, the author’s analytical comments on the possibilities of their activation in the liberalization of socio-political life have been formed.
