This article analyzes responsibility in medical practice, its legal basis and characteristics, and also examines the opinions of scientists on this issue. The existing legal norms of national legislation on medical liability were reviewed. Issues of legal regulation of medical liability were discussed based on the experience of foreign countries. The article defines the basics of legal regulation of medical liability and presents the author's conclusions.
