Abstract

This article analyzes the genesis and historical evolution of tourist culture, and also identifies the key stages of its development. The author describes the influence of geographical, social, cultural, economic and political factors on the formation of tourism culture. Particular attention is paid to identifying the main features of five historical periods and a comparative analysis of the historical stages of development of tourism culture at the global level is carried out. The article reveals in detail the evolution of tourist culture, considering it in historical and chronological contexts.
