Abstract

This article reveals the concept and characteristics of the crime associated with criminal abortion, and also provides a legal analysis of this type of crime. Based on scientific analysis, national laws and legal documents are reviewed, as well as a number of declarations related to the protection of reproductive health and the rights of pregnant women from various attacks. In addition, artificial termination of pregnancy outside of medical institutions is discussed in the context of criminal abortion, medically possible cases of artificial termination of pregnancy, which are opinions expressed by legal researchers based on scientific and comparative analysis.
