Abstract

This article examines the emergence and impact of radical views that threaten societal stability, focusing on their origins, propagation, and potential mitigation strategies. Radical ideologies, often characterized by extreme political, religious, or social perspectives, can incite violence, disrupt social cohesion, and undermine democratic institutions. The research identifies key factors contributing to radicalization, including socio-economic disparities, political disenfranchisement, and the influence of online platforms that facilitate the spread of extremist content. Preventative measures are discussed, emphasizing the importance of early intervention through education, community engagement, and policy reforms aimed at addressing root causes of radicalization. Additionally, the role of technology in both the proliferation and prevention of extremist ideologies is explored, highlighting the need for collaborative efforts between governments, tech companies, and civil society.
