Abstract

Students learning English as a foreign language (EFL) or as a second language (ESL) face particular opportunities and challenges when it comes to learning Business English. This article provides a framework for teaching Business English that integrates language proficiency with real-world business concepts. Task-based learning, the use of authentic resources, and the creation of a communicative learning environment are the main priorities. These strategies will be demonstrated through an example introductory lesson plan. For non-native speakers who want to communicate effectively in global business settings, fluency in Business English is crucial in today's interconnected world. The field of Business English includes understanding business vocabulary, procedures, and cultural nuances. The purpose of this article is to provide detailed guidance on how to teach Business English to ESL/EFL students.
