Abstract

The article examines the working processes of solar dryers. A device with a heat accumulator made from local materials, where stone is used as a thermal mass, is described. The stone accumulates solar heat during the day and releases it when the efficiency of solar radiation decreases. It is demonstrated that hygroscopic products can be successfully dried using solar energy. Additionally, the article identifies the key parameters of solar drying units with a thermal accumulator.
