This article analyzes the functions of stylistic devices in literary texts in English and Uzbek. Stylistic devices such as metaphor, comparison, hyperbole, irony, and others play a significant role in deepening the meaning of literary works, expressing emotions, and establishing an effective connection with the reader. The paper examines the peculiarities of literary style and stylistic devices in both languages.
