Abstract

Currently, when it is necessary to adapt to life changes on a daily basis, the level of victimization of the population is actively growing. Potential victims, unknowingly, easily fall into the traps of scammers, ranging from voluntary donations to false charitable foundations to "easy" additional income with certain initial contributions. Even cases of extortion are possible. Among the leading factors capable of determining the propensity to victim behavior, one can single out a low level of legal literacy, adaptation to constantly changing living conditions, as well as significant psychological stresses at different stages of socialization. The Internet environment is one of the most influential platforms where it is increasingly possible to find manifestations of victimized behavior of people of different ages and social statuses. One of the categories of such "victims" of the traps of the World Wide Web are children.
