Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical concepts, history, and modern approaches to the relationship between civil society and the state. A comparative analysis of four main models established in global practice - liberal, social-democratic, corporatist, and statist models - was conducted. The article highlights issues of strengthening civic participation through the concepts of e-democracy and digital governance. Proposals have been developed for improving cooperation between the state and society in the context of Uzbekistan.
