Abstract

This article examines the renaissance of engineering and exact sciences in the medieval Eastern world. Using examples of Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, Al-Basri, Beruni, and Alhazen, the article provides information on how engineering knowledge based on experimental natural science developed in the East.
