This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the legal nature of electronic contracts in the civil law of Uzbekistan and China, their legal force, and risk management mechanisms. It examines the regulatory framework for concluding electronic contracts, including provisions from the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Electronic Document Management," and the Law of the People's Republic of China "On Electronic Signatures." Special attention is given to the conditions for the validity of electronic contracts, risks associated with their conclusion and execution, and existing legal and technical mechanisms for minimizing these risks. The study conducts a comparative analysis of the two countries' legislative approaches regarding party identification, permissible forms of contract conclusion, and judicial recognition of electronic documents as evidence. Specific examples from the judicial practice of Uzbekistan and China are examined, demonstrating the peculiarities of applying electronic contracts in civil transactions. Based on this analysis, the article identifies trends in the convergence of legal regulations and directions for improving national legislation.
