Abstract

This article examines the conquest of Avliyoota and Turkistan, as well as the representation of the Iqan campaign in historical sources. Special attention is given to the political and military background of these events, their impact on the socio-cultural environment of the region, and the narrative strategies employed by chroniclers. The study highlights how different sources describe the campaign, the role of military leaders, and the symbolic significance of Turkistan in the history of Central Asia.
