The Content, Importance, and Ways to Improve the Effectiveness of Psychological Consultation

The article discusses the content, stages, and practical significance of psychological counseling. The ethical principles of the consultant – confidentiality, respect, non-maleficence, professional competence, responsibility, and neutrality – are analyzed. Based on the scientific views of R. Yuldoshev and H. Yuldosheva, the role of psychological counseling in the educational process and cooperation with the family is emphasized. Particular attention is given to the theoretical concepts of L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, and S.L. Rubinstein regarding personality development, the importance of communication, and the role of the social environment in the context of consultative psychology. The article reveals both theoretical and practical aspects of consultative psychology, as well as the specifics of working with children and adults.
