This article analyzes effective methods aimed at forming logical thinking in engineering education based on the experience of foreign countries. In particular, by studying the technical education systems of countries such as the USA, Germany, Japan and South Korea, pedagogical strategies are revealed that serve to form analytical and critical thinking, systematic analysis of the problem and engineering approach in students. The article covers the issues of integration of foreign approaches into the higher education system of Uzbekistan, their harmonization with national characteristics, and practical recommendations are given.
