Abstract

In the article it is analyzed the policy of the centre of the further strengthening mono cultural clap in Central Ferghana that in undertaken measures on building of large irrigation canals and pumping stations in republic on the bases of archival sources and a historiographical materials in 50-70 XX century. Therefore, in the research highlights the reclamation of Central Ferghana deserts, gray lands, irrigation processes, as well as the establishment of districts and state farms specializing in cotton growing under the influence of the Soviet government’s policy of cotton monopoly, and the negative consequences of increasing cotton production in the center. In addition, it is chronologically stated that the allocation of capital funds from the state budget and the indivisible fund of the collective farms for the development of new lands in the valley has been increasing year by year.
